Responsibilities

This individual will work within a specific Business Division of the Commercial Banking Group and have duties that relate to supporting and learning from the Division's Management team. This position will support many facets of the business line. He or she will operate in a matrix-support environment and, as a result, will interact across the organization with a variety of departments. The position reports to a Supervisor with additional supervision/mentoring provided by other members of the team.

Produce detailed analytics including data mining, data collation, and report and presentation development
Document strategy
Will be involved with tasks associated with researching, compiling and analyzing data, ultimately developing recommendations to be presented to stakeholders
Create and support project plans or task lists for participants and stakeholders as required
Take detailed notes and meeting minutes as required to document team activities and decisions where needed
Create internal partnerships with colleagues within the Division, across Commercial Banking and CFG to ensure smooth operation and support of the business line


Qualifications

All majors considered. Coursework in Finance, Accounting and Economics preferred but not required

Self starter and self motivated
Excellent interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills particularly as they relate to presentations, writing, and team dynamics
Strong analytical skills
Detail-oriented
Team player who can work closely with others to complete projects under pressure with limited time and resources
Effective project management and organizational skills
Able to think strategically while being able to act tactically
Displays effective verbal and written communication skills
Can-do attitude and self-sufficient work style
Ability to influence others without direct authority
Initiative taker who can handle high degree of change


Software skills: Advanced Excel (pivot tables, charts, formula experience) and MS Access (query writing, data matching); Solid Microsoft Powerpoint skills; MS Word and Web editor usage; ideally strong understanding/familiarity of Salesforce.com
